Differences between PCB hard board and FPC soft board
Rigid PCB: It is often used as the main board and cannot be bent.
Hardboard: PCB (printed circuit board); Flexible board: FPC or FPCB (flexible printed circuit board); Soft and hard board: RFPC or RFPCB (Rigid Flex Printed Circuit Board). A new type of terminal block is used. The local hard board has the same thickness and strength as the PCB circuit board, and can install electronic components and accept a certain mechanical force. Soft plate parts are usually used to complete 3D devices. The application of soft plate enables the whole soft and hard separation plate to be partially bent.
Flexible board: FPC, also known as flexible circuit board, can bend.
Flexible printed circuit board (FPC), also known as flexible circuit board and flexible circuit board, is loved for its light weight, thin thickness, free bending and folding. Relying on manual visual inspection, the cost is high and the efficiency is low. With the rapid development of electronic industry, circuit board design has become more and more accurate and intensive. The traditional manual detection method was once unable to meet the consumer demand, and automatic detection of FPC defects has become an inevitable trend in the development of the industry.
